Xperia Ray, Xperia Active Smartphones
Sony Ericsson announced new Xperia Ray, a small but sleek phone especially for sleek phone lovers, and Xperia Active, for those who use the phone on-the-go.
The Xperia Active has a 3 inch display and runs on the Android Gingerbread 2.3. It features a 1 GHz processor, 5 MP camera with HD capabilities and 2 GB memory that can be expanded upto 32 GB. This Xperia Active is for the people who tend to be active always. This phone comes with many pre-loaded sports applications like heart rate and pulse monitors. Also there are built-in GPS, barometer, Facebook etc. Sony Ericsson claims that Xperia Active is dust proof and also water resistant up to 30 minutes in about 3 feet of water.
Meanwhile, Xperia Ray, has a slightly larger 3.3 inches display. Similar to Xperia Active, this phone too runs on the Android Gingerbread 2.3 on 1 GHz processor. But this phone features 8.1 MP camera with HD capabilities and 4 GB memory that can be expected to 32 GB. Xperia Ray has a sleek design which makes the users to feel the comfort of a smartphone. Also there are many applications available similar to that of the Xperia Active. This phone comes in gold, pink, white and black colours.
