Acer Iconia Touchbook
The Acer Iconia Touchbook is announced in December 2010. It was only available in the US and Canada at that time. However, since April 2011, the Acer Iconia Touchbook has become available to the whole world. So, I thought I would write something about it…

The most distinctive feature of the Acer Iconia Touchbook is its dual touch screens, along with a lack of a keyboard. Actually, the Acer Iconia Touchbook displays a virtual keyboard whenever both hands are placed on one screen.

Being 14 inch, and weighing about 6.2 pounds, the Acer Iconia Touchbook had won a top ten award for its design in the early 2011.

Acer introduces the Iconia Touchbook as the most advanced touchbook, providing an absolute touch experience to users as they use the immersive ways to interact with their files and to navigate the internet.

Well, with the two touch screens, users can for instant watch a video with one, and use the other screen to browse the library.

The Acer Iconia Touchbook provides an Acer Ring, which displays a variety of applications in a user-friendly interface once it is touched. Additionally, the Acer Iconia Touchbook has a special feature called Gesture Editor, with which users can assign particular gestures of the hand to a webpage or application.

With Windows 7 installed, an Intel Core i5 processor along with an integrated Intel HD graphics card and 4GB of DDR3 RAM, the Acer Iconia Touchbook promises an extreme tablet experience.

This is only some of the main features of the Acer Iconia Touchbook. It has many more options.

However, the main problem with the Acer Iconia Touchbook is that the virtual system uses a lot of battery (non-removable) and the Acer Iconia Touchbook can at most be powered to only 3 hours.

I have gathered some more pictures of the Acer Iconia Touchbook below:-
